Setting
Vitkov Hill, a steep and rugged slope on the eastern edge of Prague, covered in summer grass and scattered trees. The hill is fortified with makeshift Hussite defenses, including wooden barricades and earthen ramparts. The Crusader army is advancing from the lower slopes, while the Hussite defenders hold the higher ground.
Characters
Jan Žižka
primary
A grizzled, middle-aged man with a muscular build despite his missing left eye and right arm, both lost in previous battles. His remaining eye is sharp and piercing, framed by deep wrinkles from years of warfare. His face bears scars from combat, and his short, graying beard is unkempt. He wears a simple iron helmet with a nasal guard.
Hussite Captain
secondary
A battle-hardened warrior in his late 30s with a muscular build from years of campaigning. His face bears several scars, including a prominent one across his left cheekbone. His short-cropped brown hair is streaked with gray, and his piercing blue eyes scan the battlefield constantly. His right hand grips a poleaxe while his left gestures emphatically as he shouts orders.
Crusader Knight
secondary
A tall, broad-shouldered nobleman in his late 30s, his face weathered by years of campaigning. His steel-gray eyes burn with fervor beneath a furrowed brow. A thick scar runs diagonally across his left cheekbone, partially hidden by his close-cropped beard. His armor gleams dully in the summer light - a full suit of plate over chainmail, with the cross of the Crusade emblazoned on his surcoat.
Hussite Archer
background
A wiry peasant soldier in his late twenties, with sun-weathered skin and calloused hands from years of labor. His dark hair is cropped short under a simple cloth cap, and his sharp eyes are narrowed in concentration. His lean frame suggests a life of hard work rather than formal military training.
Crusader Foot Soldier
background
A weary, middle-aged man of average build with a sunburned face and short, unkempt brown hair. His arms bear old scars from previous battles, and his hands are calloused from wielding weapons. His eyes are bloodshot from exhaustion and smoke.
