Battle of Vitkov Hill
Jan Žižka leads the Hussite forces in a desperate defense of Vitkov Hill against the numerically superior Crusader army, using innovative wagon forts and terrain to their advantage.
Setting
Vitkov Hill, a steep and rugged slope on the eastern edge of Prague, fortified with hastily constructed earthworks and wooden palisades. The hill is surrounded by a ring of peasant wagons chained together to form a mobile fortress, with gaps between them filled with sharpened stakes and makeshift barriers. The ground is uneven, scattered with rocks and patches of dry grass, and the air is thick with dust kicked up by the movement of soldiers and horses.
